Caja Rural – Seguros RGA hielt heute seine offizielle 2017-Team-Präsentation zu Hause in Pamplona, ​​Spanien ab. Nach der erfolgreichen Saison mit 17 Siegen (2015) und 11 (2016) will das spanische Pro-Continental-Team ein weiteres starkes Jahr in die Geschichtsbücher aufnehmen.

Marmaris, 29 April 2015 – André Greipel has taken the tenth stage win of his Presidential Tour of Turkey career at the stunning seaside town of Marmaris. Opening his account at this year’s edition, he burst from a restricted group at the end of a gruelling stage to win by three bike lengths. Second was Daniele Colli (Nippo – Vini Fantini), third was Daniele Ratto (UnitedHealthcare).

Mark Cavendish makes it Two in Antalya at the Presidential Cycling Tour of Turkey

Antalya, 27 April 2015 – Mark Cavendish (Etixx – Quick Step) made it two stage wins out of two at the 2015 Presidential Cycling Tour of Turkey today. At the end of Stage 2, Alanya – Antalya (182 km), he finished comfortably ahead of Sacha Modolo (Lampre – Merida) and Nicola Ruffoni (Bardiani CSF). Cavendish retained the race leader’s Turquoise Jersey, and reinforced his lead in the Green Jersey points competition.

Alanya, 26 April 2015 – Mark Cavendish (Etixx – Quick Step) won Stage 1 of the Presidential Cycling Tour of Turkey, Alanya – Alanya (145 km) today. He took the first race leader’s Turquoise Jersey.

The stage unfolded like this: within ten kilometres of the start, five riders formed the first breakaway of the 2015 TUR: Mario Costa (Lampre – Merida, wearing dossard 22), Alessandro Tonelli (Bardiani CFS, 78), Lluis Mas (Caja Rural, 96), Adam Phelan (Drapac, 121) and Federico Zurlo (UnitedHealthcare, 188). The
peloton, led by Lotto Soudal, Etixx – Quick Step and Torku Seker Spor allowed the attackers to build a maximum lead of no more than 3m 35s.
