Team MTN-Qhubeka Management Gets A New Look For 2015

Team MTN-Qhubeka p/b Samsung are delighted to announce that Alex Sans Vega and Jean-Pierre Heynderickx have joined the team, both taking on roles as Sports Directors. Sans Vega and Heynderickx will join up with existing sports directors, Jens Zemke and Michel Cornelisse to direct the African Pro-Continental team throughout the 2015 cycling season.

Sans Vega comes with a wealth of experience after working for squads like Team CSC, Cervelo Test Team and NetApp Endura in the past. Sans Vega has also directed teams at more than 20 grand tours in his career as a sports director and will be invaluable to Team MTN-Qhubeka.

Team MTN-Qhubeka p/b Samsung are delighted to announce that Australian, Matthew Goss will join Team MTN-Qhubeka for the 2015 cycling season. Goss is an exceptional bike rider who has won races in multiple World Tour events, including stages of the Giro d‘ Italia, Tirreno-Adriatico and Paris-Nice. The victory that really stands out on Goss‘ palmares though, is his 2011 Milano-Sanremo triumph.

Cantwell a resilient third in Sun Tour’s Ballarat stage

Jonathan Cantwell held firm in the Stage 1 sprint finish of the 2014 Jayco Herald Sun Tour to take home Drapac Professional Cycling’s second podium in as many days with third place in Ballarat.

The 31-year-old finished strongly despite illness and a minor collision between his sprint rivals to finish behind winner Nathan Haas (Garmin Sharp) and Matthew Goss (Orica GreenEdge). Cantwell said that his experience in Ballarat certainly paid dividends on Thursday.
