Drapac: RideLondon Classic, Tour of Utah, USA Pro Challenge

Drapac Professional Cycling is set to launch the second half of the 2015 season off at the Prudential RideLondon-Surrey Classic on Sunday 2 August. Britain’s greatest one-day bike race is back and this year’s fast and furious showdown will see 150 of the world’s top pro cyclists take on a 200km route through London and Surrey. The route is a variation on the London 2012 Olympic Road Cycling Race route.

“This is our first time at Ride London and we’ve brought a squad that is ready to be at the forefront of the race. It’s a very talented field and the course is deceivingly hard. We have brought the guys who love the style of racing that London has evolved into over the last few years,“ Keith Flory, Sports Director, said.

„Obviously Will Clarke is known for his aggressive performances, and with Koning and Kohler, we have two Europeans who love racing on these types of roads. Girdlestone is coming into some great form after a solid training block and the repetitive climbs will suit him. We have got Jones, who is exceptionally quick in any finish finale and Sulzberger, who showed in Korea that given the chance he’s still incredibly quick and loves to mix it up,“ Flory added.

The squad is excited for its debut in London and with its solid roster.

„To be competing against the worlds best here in London, and seeing my family cheer me on from the sidelines is going to make for an exciting race. This will be one of the biggest races in my career so far and we have a strong team. I’m ready to race, so I’m looking forward to Sunday,“ Brenton Jones added.
