The 2nd day of racing at the Mallorca Challenge proved to be a magical day for Team MTN-Qhubeka p/b Samsung as Steve Cummings earned our team’s first victory of the season! Gerald Ciolek salvaged what was becoming a day to forget for Team MTN-Qhubeka p/b Samsung by winning stage 2 of the Tour of Britain. Africa’s first Professional Continental team lost both Andreas Stauff and Ferekalsi Debesay to crashes during the stage and the day was looking bleak until Ciolek survived the tough Honister Pass halfway through the stage to make the final selection in the end.
